Lobby Corps to host infosession and orientation
SANTA BARBARA, CA – UCSB Lobby Corps plans to kick off the 2017-2018 academic year with an infosession and orientation. The event is open to all UCSB students, and marks the beginning of the Lobby Corps membership drive. The meeting will take place in the Nati Conference Room (on the second floor of the Associated Students building) and begins at 6:30 PM on October 5. The infosession and orientation will include introductions and icebreakers, an overview of Lobby Corps, updates on activity at the Federal, State, and local levels, and, of course, lots of pizza. Incoming Co-Chairs Spencer Brandt (State and Federal) and Ashley Selki (Local) are eager to build a team of students that are hardworking, dedicated, and interested in learning more about the political process.
