A Message from your 2017-2018 Co-Chairs
Hey UCSB! Welcome to the new website of UCSB Associated Students Lobby Corps. We are beyond excited to serve as your co-chairs during the 2016-2017 academic year. We see an enormous amount of potential in our student body’s ability to shape public policy in ways that reflect the UCSB community’s unique, innovative, and forward thinking nature. Lobby Corps is a unit of UCSB Associated Students that strives to unite activism, professionalism, and strategic planning to advocate for student needs. We research, analyze, and advocate for – or against – local, state, and national legislation, programs, and policy. We harness the student voice to influence decision makers from Isla Vista to the halls of Congress. Both of us are well versed in the political decision-making process and are looking forward to bringing this experience to our roles as Co-Chairs.
